Advancing research data management
Our members are people and institutions that generate biological and environmental data, maintain their own collections and operate academic IT services. They are committed to promoting good practice in data management and organise participation in the National Research Data Infrastructure NFDI and other projects.
Part of the German National Research Data Infrastructure
GFBio e.V. is a member of the National Research Data Infrastructure NFDI, which has been funded by the federal and state governments since 2019. As a coordinating partner in NFDI4Biodiversity, we are actively involved in developing the consortium´s network of partners, technologies and services.
